Who are Nice-Pak?
Nice-Pak International (NPI) are the UK’s largest manufacturer of private label plastic-free wet wipes. Operating in the UK for over 35 years, their product portfolio includes baby wipes, cosmetic wipes, and household cleaning wipes. They are a major producer of wipes for leading supermarkets and brands, commanding a significant share of the UK wipes market.
Their European Headquarters are based in Flint, North Wales, with an additional facility in Wigan, Greater Manchester, ensuring a robust and efficient production and distribution network.
With a long-standing commitment to sustainability the company reached a milestone in 2023 with over 90% of the wipes produced for the UK market were plastic-free, and more than 80% of the packaging was fully recyclable.
In 2023, NPI won the regional finals of the Health, Safety & Wellbeing category at the Make UK Manufacturing awards and earlier this year was awarded an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council in recognition of NPI’s commitment to keeping its workplaces healthy and safe.
Project background:
Working with Nice-Pak has been a rewarding experience, characterised by a collaborative and trusting relationship built over nearly a decade. In 2015, we initially engaged with the client on a large-scale CDM project involving a complete site refurbishment and new build, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. This foundational project set the stage for our ongoing partnership. We have since expanded our support to include further CDM support, training programmes and fire risk assessments across Nice-Pak’s manufacturing sites in Flint, Wales and Wigan, Greater Manchester.
