Well, well, well – what an event!

As always, this year’s PPMA Total Show was a resounding success and was the perfect opportunity to make new connections, get to know other innovators within the industry and catch up with several of our existing clients!

We sent along a handful of our pm Connections team, consisting of Stuart McCreedy (Managing Director), Belinda Long (Operations & Service Delivery Manager) and Marie Dobson (Business Systems & Compliance Manager) – where they were joined by more than 350 other exhibitors, and had a fantastic few days getting to share what we do best.

Not one to shy away from the limelight, our Managing Director Stuart McCreedy was thrilled to have been asked to host a talk on UKCA Marking whilst at the event. We caught up with him to see how he found it:

“It was a great experience! I found that the audience were really engaged, and I felt it was important to highlight the legislative roles and responsibilities surrounding UKCA Marking. It’s a complicated subject for many, so hopefully, I managed to shed some light on people’s questions. A specific scenario that was great to discuss was where the responsibilities lay regarding UKCA Marking an assembly of connected machinery that works as an integral whole. This is an area we can offer a great deal of insight into and provide our clients with a lot of support on!”

“Another highlight from the event was the PPMA Gala Dinner, which Belinda and I were lucky enough to have attended. It featured a performance from the stand-up comedian, Jason Manford, and was a great way to meet fellow specialists within the sector.”

“The overall show was really well organised, and it was an honour to represent and support the PPMA, who do a lot of great work for the suppliers of processing and packaging machinery within the UK and overseas. We’re already looking forward to next year!”
