Stuart McCreedy

Managing Director

Stuart McCreedy

Managing Director

Professional Background:

A graduate in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Stuart founded pm Connections Ltd in 2005 and has overseen its growth and transformation from a two-man project management band to its current Health and Safety specialism.  A Chartered member of IOSH, Stu brings over 30 years engineering and technical experience to the cause as well as general, construction and fire NEBOSH qualifications.  He delivers a number of training courses including the IOSH suite of Leading/Managing/Working Safely.

Stuart is Managing Director; he is closely involved in operational matters but only occasionally gets his hands dirty now.  This allows him to focus on the general direction of the company as well as commercial, sales and marketing activities.  He is a proud graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme which informed our recent growth.

About Stuart:

Stuart nearly followed an entirely different career path, into music.  As a talented brass player, Stu spent many years playing bass trombone with some of the best brass bands in the country.  His claim to fame is playing for Grimethorpe Colliery Band on the Brassed Off soundtrack, recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London.  Running pmC means that banding is now an occasional hobby, helping out when a deputy is needed.  Married with two young children, Stu is also partial to a recreational beer and curry.

A founding Director of pm Connections Ltd, Mags holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from Swansea University and an MBA from the University of Bradford School of Management.  A PRINCE2 and ITIL qualified Project Manager with over 25 years of experience, her previous freelance career involved change and implementation projects in a number of industries, including Pharmaceuticals and Utilities.  In early 2016, Mags decided to hang up her Gantt charts and work solely for pmC, supporting the company through its recent growth.  She is a general business manager with specific responsibility for HR and Finance.  Mags is the Company Secretary, oversees Data Protection compliance and is also the nominated Training Administrator for IOSH courses.

About Mags:

Married with two young children, Mags enjoys spending time with her family – preferably in the great outdoors and not far from a quality coffee.  She is a frustrated sportster having dabbled in a few sprint triathlons and a number of long distance cycle challenges – London to Paris in 2017 being the highlight.  Mags has an ambition to swim the channel but as part of a leisurely relay team.

Belinda Long

Operations & Service Delivery Manager

Professional Background:

Belinda has a wealth of experience, training and qualifications with over 20 years in Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Rehabilitation and Health Science, in a variety of consultancy and management roles within construction, manufacturing and corporate environments. A career challenge was joining a manufacturing company that had experienced a fatality.  As H&S Manager, Belinda was instrumental in changing the culture that was held back by fear following the incident; leading by example, training and coaching to improve confidence and belief in safety throughout the company.

Belinda joined pmC in 2018 to manage and support our growing team of H&S professionals and to work more closely with our clients.  She has particularly enjoyed our projects on continental Europe; getting to grips with the culture, behaviours, language barriers and the logistics of working in different countries and with differing legislation/company rules.  Belinda holds a Post Grad Cert in OHS & Ergonomics, NEBOSH General Certificate with distinction and is a Grad member of IOSH.

About Belinda:

Mum to two boys, Belinda loves cheering from the side lines of their football matches.  She is a keen cyclist having completed the iconic London to Brighton challenge and has dabbled in coasteering.  Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Belinda settled here in 2017 and enjoys being a tourist here and abroad.  She is currently labouring for her husband, bricklaying and climbing scaffolding (safely of course) on their home extension project.
